A 28-year-old man wanted in connection with a hit and run accident that left 44-year-old Guler Ugur-Yaacobi dead has been arrested, cops said.

Guler Ugur-Yaacobi, 44, a Jewish woman from Brooklyn, was on her way to a concert on New Years Eve around 6:30 p.m. when she was run down by an SUV crossing West 113 near Amsterdam Avenue.

The driver fled the scene without stopping to check on Yaacobi.

On Thursday, after seeing his SUV all over the media, Prezidor Porbeni walked into the District Attorney’s Office with his attorney to confess he was the driver in the hit and run, sources said.

A police source said Porbeni has a criminal past. He recently assaulted his pregnant girlfriend and charges were brought up against him.

Porbeni has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
